For over two years running, Ciarancam.com has published a new photograph each and every day.  But, sadly, my Wednesday, August 31st post was the end of the streak.  From now on the blog will upload only the occasional photo.  Once in a blue moon, as my Mom says.  And it has nothing to do with last weeks earthquake, or this weeks hurricane, or the fact that I have been without power and internet access for over four days now.  It is just time for me to end the daily photo blog.  It was a good run.  Over 800 consecutive daily photo posts.  I have had a blast posting my mostly iphone photos (and occasional videos).  And I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for viewing and subscribing to the photo blog.  Even though the blog was based on the area around Northport, Long Island, New York , we have had viewers from all over the world.  I often wondered what site visitors from Brazil, China or even Missouri, think about Northport and the surrounding Long Island North Shore area after viewing the blog photos.

Anyways, I will keep the blog up and running on Posterous and will post the occasional photo if I happen upon a good one.  At the very top of the home page, there is an option to see the blog photos in Slideshow mode.  So since there will be alot less new photos coming into the blog, why not hit the Slideshow link and enjoy some of the oldies but goodies.
